Thinking of a full on rebrand? Here’s what you need to know first.

Should you go with a full rebrand or a brand voice refresh?

Sometimes you don't need a whole ass makeover, especially if you've already built trust with your audience. You might just need to update your brand voice instead.

Thinking of a full on rebrand? Here’s what you need to know first.

A full rebrand can include design, logo, graphics, website, socials, brand voice, press release, etc.

- It can take 18-24 months to get a return on your investment with a full rebrand.

- Benchmarks to document - 6 months, 9 months, 12 months post rebrand. (leading up to that 18-24 mark)

- Are you comfortable with those timelines? If the answer is yes, a full rebrand might be right for you.

The impact of a full rebrand does not usually show up in the first year. It’s not quick fix or a fast money maker. You are playing the long game and building equity in your brand as time goes on.

Feeling overwhelmed?

You may just need a brand voice refresh. If you’ve already built trust with your audience and you're just feeling uninspired by your own voice, you might just need to update your brand voice.

All brands have a brand voice. Is yours saying the right thing?

Here’s how you can tell if your brand voice resonates with your audience...

- They are in your DMs asking good/curious questions.

- They are in the comments of your posts sharing personal stories because they relate to what you are saying.

- The follow you across platforms. Loyal clients will follow you everywhere.
